Creekside Park features walking paths, covered picnic tables, and access to the creek.

The Berkshire Free Library has been serving our community for over 100 years. Check out our digital resources, ebooks, audiobooks, language learning, job help and lots more. Come learn a new craft, get tech help, and bring your children to our story time.

OUR COMMUNITY HALL
A unique & spectacular
historic treasure, available to local area residents & organizations for meetings, civic events, youth &
library activities and private gatherings such as weddings, anniversaries, parties and celebrations. The
Hall is also the permanent home of the Helping Hands Food Pantry.
The Hall is available free of charge for nonprofit use and with very low fees for private activities.
The building hosts nearly 400 events annually. The Berkshire Community Hall exists only for the
Community. If you would like a tour, more information, or would like to participate in keeping this restored treasure readily available to all, please reach out.
Fire District
let's connect
The Fire District and the Fire Company provides integral services for the Town. Members are always needed, for more than just firefighting. Reach out or stop in on the first Tuesday of the month to meet the team, learn more, and support your community.

FREE RIDES
If you need a ride to the doctor's office, the grocery store, the pharmacy, or the library then you can use the free services of Northern Tioga Neighbors Network (NTNN). Call at least 3 business days beforehand and someone will connect you with a volunteer driver: 607-657-2823.
Financial & other aid
Tioga County Rural Ministry offers services for residents:
Ramps for those with medical need.
Financial assistance for things such as gas, utilities, rent, or prescriptions.
Christmas clothing for children up to age 18 (register in early October).
